Calling All Students - Last Chance to Enter Your Video

Lights, Camera, Save!Your Video Could Win Up to $5,000!
Students, have we got a fun challenge for you! Put your YouTube and Instagram skills to work and enter the "Lights Camera Save" video competition - you could win up to $5,000 in local and national prizes!

What Is 'Lights Camera Save!'?
It's a national video competition that encourages teens, 13 to 18 years old, to spread the word about the importance of saving and using money wisely. To enter, create an interesting, informative video that speaks to others your age about money: Show why it's important to be careful with money and to save for the future. Then upload your video online and email the link and a completed entry form to Do it by December 3, 2019.

Big Prizes Up for Grabs
Up to $5,000 in local and national prizes is available. Burke & Herbert Bank will select three preliminary-round winners and reward them with $350, $100 and $50 gift cards, respectively. Their teachers will also be recognized with a $50 gift card from the Bank!

The Burke & Herbert Bank winner will advance to the national competition, which offers a first-place prize of $5,000, a second-place prize of $2,500 and a third-place prize of $1,000. Winners of the national competition, which is sponsored by the American Bankers Association, will be announced in February, 2020. In addition to the individual prizes, the schools of the top three national winning students each will receive an ABA scholarship for an educator to attend the 2020 Jump$tart National Educator Conference.

Exciting News For Teachers!
We're here to help you encourage your students to participate in "Lights, Camera, Save!" and to learn about saving! Invite our bankers to teach a financial literacy lesson to your class and review the contest rules. Remember, Burke & Herbert Bank will award a $50 gift card to the teacher of each of our three regional winners.

Don't Forget: Entry Deadline Is December 3
So get your creative ideas flowing, show off your money smarts, and send us your videos by December 3, 2019. To enter, download the Contestant Entry Packet and Official Rules, create and upload your video, then email the video's link and your completed entry form to by December 3. Around December 18, Burke & Herbert Bank judges will choose a winner from all the videos submitted to advance to the national competition.
