What is changing?

Along with a new logo, you’ll also see a full visual refresh come to life. Our colors, patterns, and photography are evolving to tell a bigger, more extraordinary story that will help us better connect with you as our customer, as well as with the greater community. Our language will start sounding a little different too, in order to be as clear, personable, and representative of our people and mission as possible.

Is this refresh a response to the merger with Summit Bank?

Not directly, but the merger announcement provided a perfect opportunity for both banks to come together in the spirit of new growth and a stronger, more dynamic future.

Where will I see this refreshed brand show up?

All current branding will be refreshed, starting with our social channels, and communications including advertisements and collateral. Over the next year, signage and the look and feel of our branches will gradually be updated.

How will this impact me as a customer?

This refreshed logo, rich color palette and other elements will not impact your accounts, the services we offer or how your money is insured with us. All your account numbers and login credentials will remain the same.

Will these changes impact the digital or in-person services I use?

All our services will continue uninterrupted. Our online banking and mobile apps will feature the Burke & Herbert Bank logo and colors, but the functionality and layout will remain the same.

Will my debit and credit cards still work?

Yes, you can continue to use your debit and credit cards. These cards will be replaced and updated once they expire. Your new card will be mailed to you in the same way it is done currently.

Will I still be able to use my existing checks?

Yes, you may continue to use your existing checks until your current supply runs out. Then you will order new checks the same way you do now.

Will my account number(s) and any loans I have remain the same?

Yes, all your account details will go unchanged.
