Mortgage Loan Officer

Socorro Reyes has worked in the mortgage industry since 2004, and has deep experience in all aspects of residential mortgage lending. She has served as a mortgage trainer, processor, underwriter and closer, and has been a licensed loan officer since 2017. She joined Burke & Herbert Bank in 2022.

A lifelong resident of the Washington, DC region, Socorro has a deep knowledge of the local mortgage market and has helped clients finance homes of all sizes. She is also a certified Veterans loans specialist and speaks fluent Spanish in addition to English. She holds a B.A. from Marymount University and currently lives in Potomac, MD with her husband, three sons and three daughters.
