Your Video Could Win Over $10,000!
If you are between 13 and 18 years old and ready to put your creativity (and financial knowledge) to the test, enter the Lights, Camera, Save! video contest – you could win over $10,000 in local and national prizes!
What Is ‘Lights Camera Save!’?
It’s a national video competition that encourages teens to spread the word about the importance of using money wisely. To enter, create a short (30-second), interesting video that speaks to others your age about wise money use. Pick a topic that’s relevant to kids your age. Think: budgeting, saving for college, credit score, debt, direct deposit, retirement, protecting your identity, automatic savings – any financial topic you feel speaks to teens. Use the power of video to get your message across in a fun and engaging way. Then upload your video online and email the link and a completed entry form to save@burkeandherbertbank.com no later than November 30, 2025.
Over $20,000 in Prizes
Over $20,000 in local and national prizes will be awarded. Burke & Herbert Bank will select two preliminary-round winners (first and second place) per state (VA, WV, MD, DE, KY) and reward them with $500 and $100 gift cards, respectively.
The Burke & Herbert Bank winner (in each state) will advance to the national competition sponsored by the American Bankers Association (ABA). The ABA offers a first-place prize of $10,000, a second-place prize of $5,000 and a third-place prize of $2,500. There is also a Bankers’ Choice winner that receives a gift package worth at least $750. Winners of the national competition will be announced on February 23, 2026.
Exciting News For Teachers!
“Lights, Camera, Save!” is a fun and hands-on way for students to reinforce their money management knowledge – and we’re ready to help! Invite our bankers to teach a financial literacy lesson to your class and review the contest rules. Your students will enjoy using their digital skills to show off their financial smarts.
As an added bonus, Burke & Herbert Bank will award a $100 gift card to the teacher of each first place regional winner(s). The ABA also offers prizes for the teachers (or schools) of the top three national finalists of $300, $200, and $100, respectively.

Don’t Forget: Entry Deadline Is November 30!
Get your creative ideas flowing, show off your money smarts, and send us your videos no later than November 30, 2025. To enter, download the Contestant Entry Packet and Official Rules, create and upload your video, then email the video’s link and your completed entry form to save@burkeandherbertbank.com by November 30. Around December 8, Burke & Herbert Bank judges will choose a winner per state from all the videos submitted to advance to the national competition. American Banker Association Finalists will be announced about mid-January.

Individual Prizes from the American Bankers Association for Final Round Winners: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000. One (1) Second Place Winner will receive $5,000. One (1) Third Place Winner will receive $2,500. One (1) Bankers’ Choice Prize valued at $750.
