A Video Contest for Teens
Students Can Win Up to $5,000!
The "Lights, Camera, Save!" video contest gives teens a chance to win big prizes while showing off their money smarts.
Create an interesting, informative video that will get the attention of your friends and teens like you – tell them why it's important to be careful with their money and why they should save for the future. Then enter that video in the "Lights, Camera, Save!" competition for your chance to win up to $5,000 in local and national prizes!
Burke & Herbert Bank is delighted to host the regional round of Lights, Camera, Save! The top three regional winners will be recognized by the Bank and receive $350, $100, $50 gift cards, respectively. Each of their teachers will receive a $50 gift card from the Bank.
Entry Deadline Is December 3
Download the "Lights, Camera, Save" Contestant Entry Packet and Official Rules. The competition is open to teens ages 13 to 18, and Burke & Herbert Bank is accepting entries through December 3, 2018.
To enter, upload your video online, then submit the video's URL along with a completed entry form to firstname.lastname@example.org by December 3, 2018. On or about December 16, Burke & Herbert Bank will select one preliminary-round winner to advance to the national competition, which is administered by the American Bankers Association.

Thousands of Dollars in Local and National Prizes
In addition to prize money from the Bank, the first-place regional winner advances to the national competition for an opportunity for further recognition and prizes. The national competition features a first-place prize of $5,000, a second-place prize of $2,500 and a third-place prize of $1,000. Winners of the national competition will be announced by March, 2019. In addition to the individual prizes, the schools of the top three national winning students each will receive a $500 ABA scholarship for an educator to attend the 2019 Jump$tart National Educator Conference.
Lights, Camera, Save! is part of the Teach Children to Save campaign, a national movement of volunteer bankers who guide young people toward life-long savings habits.
